In the context of the UNESCO global capacity building program for the safeguarding of the intangible cultural heritage and in fulfilment of Regional Centre’s work plan for 2018, the Centre conducted a training workshop on the subject of ‘Implementing the UNESCO Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage’ in the city of Tbilisi, Georgia in the period November 5-9, 2018. Just like with the other successfully delivered training events, two trainers of the UNESCO Network of facilitators conducted a 5-day training on capacity building at national level, for the benefit of experts working in the area of safeguarding of the intangible cultural heritage.
