The Regional Centre for the Safeguarding of Intangible Cultural Heritage in South-Eastern Europe under the auspices of UNESCO is beneficiary of National Fund “Culture” – Bulgaria with the project titled ‘Documentation and presentation of intangible cultural heritage’.
The project consist of an online training seminar titled ‘Documentation and presentation of intangible cultural heritage’ to be held within 3 weeks, 6 modules and 2 peer to peer sessions.
The workshop is aimed at experts working in Bulgarian museums, community centers ‘chitalishte’ and REKIC, NGOs and young professionals, students, PhDs. Priority in the selection will be given to persons with experience in ICH research and documentation, in realization of ethnographic fond and exhibitions, with implementation of educational programs and projects for ICH popularization.
The workshop objective is to provide an opportunity for attaining key knowledge and skills related to the topic of the project.
The training modules of the seminar are as it follows:
Theme 1: Introduction of the Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage (2003)

Theme 4: Creation of registers and archives of intangible cultural heritage at local level

All modules will be held each Тuesday and Thursday with duration of 2 hours. Simultaneous interpretation (English-Bulgarian) will be provided by the Regional Centre.
